Use this action to quickly smooth out your fabric or seamless paper!
This action is for ENGLISH VERSION Photoshop CC 2021 and newer.
Disclaimer: This action works as it should in the English version of PS 2021 & newer only! You can still use it in other languages but the selection tool does not work- you will get an error, you can ignore the error and can continue to use this action for the smoothing benefits!
It works “as Is” – it will occasionally miss your subject at times- you can still carefully brush around your subject!
For the appearance of extending backgrounds- it can sometimes work flawlessly depending on the colors of the background edges- if you get an odd color around the edges of your image, you may crop your image in to clear outer edge distractions , then extend your drop using the content aware crop – then use this action or paint the outer area before playing action.
This action was designed to be super simple, so there’s some things you still may be required to do in order to make it work for your specific image!
May or may not work on M1 Mac =) It’s been reported that it works for some people, and doesn’t for others- not sure why!!
This works on seamless paper & fabric backdrops!
